allan -We will meet and park at my Gallery 3 miles west of Gunnison at 6.45am. Scenic River Tours will shuttle us to the Gunnison River. We will set off in rafts from Mc Cabes Lane and float the Gunnison to Blue Mesa Lake. The trip should take approximately 4 hours and we will be stopping several times along the way to take photos and to talk photography. I will cover from basic camera handling and technique to composition and lighting. The river is not very rough on this trip but equipment will be stored in dry bags. You will need to bring your own camera and tripod if you use one and shoes that can get wet. A warm wind breaker will be useful. The trip costs $100 per person and you can book at our Mesa RV Resort or at Scenic River Tours in Gunnison. Coffee and pastries will provided along the way. We will finish up back at the Gallery for a tour.
